Mario Kart

By Baja-Ma | July 22, 2008

We bought Mario Kart Wii today and it’s mad fun. But getting beat by an 11 year old more than once = Not so fun. Both KeBin and I battled our family friend Rean online and he beat us so many times. Then my Broja and KeBin went against him with the same outcome. Oh man, we’re losing our touch.

Home slice skillet biscuits

By Baja-Ma | July 21, 2008

I dropped by my old job this morning to see Carrianne and Trina. Same ol’, same ol’, though…they were just chillen’ around the department until a customer asks them a question, haha. I miss my Wally World homies.

Asian shopping

By Baja-Ma | July 20, 2008

There was a new Asian/International market that opened up in the area, I think last month. We went to Guitar Center today to buy some studio equipment and decided to stop by the market afterwards since it was right around the corner. The store was huge and really nice. It was the first time we’ve been there and they have a much bigger selection than the other Asian stores we usually go to. There was such a variety of one certain item that we didn’t know which one to get, haha. The prices weren’t too bad and our shopping total came up to $20.00 even, which was funny. There’s nothing better than Shrimp chips, Koala’s March cookies, and Pocky sticks.

Damn pt. 2

By Baja-Ma | July 19, 2008

Our neighbors are still at the hospital as I type this and are in critical condition. Their two children are staying with family members. Police investigators believe it was a domestic situation. It’s so crazy, I don’t even know what to say. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and just hope they resolve this soon.

Damn

By Baja-Ma | July 18, 2008

We woke up this morning to police and ambulance sirens. Come to find out, there was a double shooting that occurred next door. As of right now, our two neighbors are in critical condition. Their two children were found locked up in a bedroom, unharmed. They stayed with us for a few hours while they investigated next door. It’s all crazy and everyone in our court were interviewed. Please keep our neighbors, their children, and their family & friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I love kids? Um.

By Baja-Ma | July 17, 2008

I go upstairs to take a shower and then hear Jade & Raiden barking all of a sudden. I peeked downstairs and saw this little boy looking through our side door window. I ignore it and go back inside the bathroom. A few minutes later, they were still barking, so I peeked again. Low and behold, the boy was still there. WTF? I go downstairs to answer it and come to find out it was the same boy who knocked on our door last week.

Boy: “Do you need your lawn mowed?”

Me: “No.” I closed the door thinking, “Does it look like our grass needs to be mowed? We just mowed it a few days ago.”

I go back upstairs and then a few minutes later, Jade & Raiden were barking like crazy again. I go downstairs, answer the door, and then there’s two of them. Like damn, these kids multiply fast.

Boy: “I forgot to ask, do you need your dog walked?”

Me: “No.” I closed the door thinking, “Why would I let you walk my dog? If you guys get hit by a car, I’m going to be so pissed that my dog got hit and I’ll sue your parents.” Okay, maybe I was joking about the last part, but I’d be more worried about my dog getting hit than the boy.

I peek outside the window and see them playing around with one of our neighbor’s kid’s toy car. Then they took it away…I bet my neighbor won’t be too happy about that. Seriously, don’t these kids have anything better to do over the summer? They looked about 7 or 8 years old, but my gosh, how many times do I have to say no? He comes here every week, asking the same questions, and won’t leave until you answer your door. Please remind me again why I love kids.

I kid, I kid

By Baja-Ma | July 16, 2008

We all recently became addicted to the show, Jon & Kate Plus 8 on the TLC network. It’s so hilarious and all eight kids are absolutely adorable. There’s a marathon going on right now and we’ve been hooked all night. Even Raiden is watching it.

Bleeding love

By Baja-Ma | July 15, 2008

I was cutting Raiden’s nails today and accidentally cut the quick. This was the very first time I’ve cut past his bloodline, so I felt terrible. Blood went everywhere and his nail wouldn’t stop bleeding. When it did stop, it started bleeding like an hour later. It looked like I killed someone cause I had blood all over my clothes. Ay-iy-iy. He’s doing fine now, my little snausage.

By Baja-Ma | July 14, 2008

Class registration started today and I went to sign up at noon. Come to find out, one of the classes I’m suppose to sign up for was already full before I even had a chance to register. Golly gee willakers, it filled up in just a few hours. Gah.

Can you feel it now, Mr. Crabs?

By Baja-Ma | July 13, 2008

We went to the beach early this morning and caught a gazillion crabs and a batch of assorted fish. Lets just say, breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious.

Jealous, Yoon? Muwhahaha.
